The First Flower — Summer II has begun.

For now, the work exists first through drawings, colour tests and small decisions made before any final composition is fixed.

The flowers are becoming more abundant.

The palette is opening further.

Summer is beginning to carry more life.

But nothing is complete yet.

More Flowers. More Colour. More Life.

Summer II follows Summer I, but it is not intended to repeat it.

The season is moving toward greater intensity.

More flowers begin to appear in the working drawings. More colours enter the page. Some areas become dense with life while others remain quiet.

The purpose is not to cover the sculpture with decoration.

The physical form must remain visible.

The flowers must grow from the logic of the moment rather than become a pattern placed over the body.

The Butterfly Remains Nearby

The Butterfly is still present during this early stage.

It does not explain the work.

It simply remains within the visual memory surrounding the Young King.

Around it, flowers are tested, redrawn and rearranged.

The final Summer II does not yet exist.

What exists now is only the beginning.

A few drawings.

A few colours.

The first signs of a season becoming fuller.

Summer II has begun.
