Created as the first physical work of the universe, the sculpture represents the state before the emergence of The Young King — a sealed origin containing the possibility of everything that follows.
The work is constructed from a steel shell with a black exterior. Its interior is lined with a composite and stone-powder layer, creating a contrast between the dark outer surface and the material structure held within.
Origin Egg is the first work in the Genesis Core, a three-part sequence tracing the earliest stage of The Young King’s existence:

Together, the three works establish the point of origin from which the wider narrative of The Young King Universe begins.
